personnal history |
|
Grew up in paris. When his lil' bro Oli al-Bab bought an Amiga 500, he composed his first songs on it. He left for
Strasbourg, where he performed
his first concert with Liza Starflash. Once in Amsterdam, finally equiped with a
PC, he starts
some collaborations, with Caroline and Cécile Dee, and
becomes dj at the COC House parties. He met Lewis one day, spent 12 hours with him in traffic jams singing bullshit,
and suddenly decided to
marry him and to write songs with him. |
|
Born in amsterdam of a Brazilian
mom and an American dad, Lewis grew up between Holland, Brazil and the
States. He happenned to be homeless, UNCR inspector, gardener, christian
sect member, horse riding instructor, accountant, and only white singer
of a black choir. He ended up meeting Laurent one day, spent 12 hours
with him in traffic jams singing bullshit, and suddenly decided to marry him and to
write songs with him.

lows of the
recording |
|
Lewis was not always in the mood to
sing properly, and technicalities (grilled hard disc, diverse
background noises, hacked software bugs...) were sometimes
overwhelming

Laurent screaming at me because i
didn't sing exactly like he wanted me to.

highs of the

One night, at a party, everybody
started dancing on 'never have it to end', it was pure bliss.
Recording and working with Miss kathy Clugston was quite funny, and may leads
to other stuff...
|
|
We're still together after all this,
wow... when everybody dances on our tracks, that feels gooood!
